The McGinnity Family Foundation, Inc. (MFF) honors the memories of Marie and James McGinnity by paying forward their dedication to family, children and community. We are a private foundation which endeavors to give voice to our youth through embracing youth-inspired and youth-led initiatives that address our challenges of today and tomorrow.

MFF was incorporated in January of 2014 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) private foundation. This came about as the result of estate planning conversations that began with the Maggie and Tom McGinnity family and ultimately led to the creation of the McGinnity Family Foundation. The fact that each of Maggie and Tom’s four daughters had served on the Greater Milwaukee Foundation’s Youth in Service Fund Youth Advisory Council when they were high school students played a significant role in the process of establishing the Foundation. While we explored other options for sharing our blessings, it quickly became abundantly clear that this was the route to go for us.
